Guard Column Cartridges, RP C12, 3um, 100A. 4.0mm ID x 10mm Length. Cogent Brand. 5/PK.

Additional Information:

Cogent RP C12™ Guard Column Cartridges are designed to protect valuable analytical columns from particulate matter, strongly retained contaminants, and sample matrix components that can reduce column performance and shorten column lifetime. Packed with the same high-purity RP C12™ stationary phase used in Cogent analytical columns, these guard cartridges help maintain method consistency while extending analytical column service life. The stationary phase is fully double end capped and utilizes a rigid adamantane-shaped carbon silane bonded to ultra-high purity silica.

68312-PG2 contains five guard column cartridges packed with 3 µm RP C12™ particles and 100 Å pores in a 4.0 mm ID x 10 mm format. Designed to protect 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm, and 4.6 mm ID RP C12 analytical columns, these cartridges capture contaminants before they reach the analytical column bed, reducing performance loss and minimizing replacement costs. The cartridges are constructed using stainless steel tubes and frits with PEEK frit caps for durability and reliable chromatographic performance.

These guard cartridges are particularly useful for high-throughput screening (HTS), complex sample matrices, pharmaceutical analyses, and routine reversed-phase HPLC applications. Regular replacement of guard cartridges can significantly extend analytical column lifetime while maintaining consistent retention, peak shape, efficiency, and resolution.
